Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for choosing The Rex Theater in Orofino, Idaho. We appreciate your support and want to be clear and transparent about our refund and returns policy so you can plan your visit with confidence.

Ticket Refunds

Refunds for movie tickets are available through two methods:

  • In-Person: You may request a refund at the theater box office during normal operating hours.
  • Online Purchases: For tickets purchased through our website, you may request a refund by emailing bookings@orofinotheater.com. Please include your order number and the name used for the booking.

Eligibility and Deadlines

  • Refund requests must be made before the ticket has been redeemed or scanned for entry. Once a ticket has been used, it is no longer eligible for a refund.
  • All refund requests—whether in-person or via email—must be submitted before the scheduled showtime.
  • If the movie date and time on your ticket have already passed, refunds, exchanges, or credits are impossible.

Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.
  • Gift cards do not expire and may be used toward the purchase of movie tickets or concessions at The Rex Theater.
  • Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced, so please treat them like cash.

Additional Information

  • Exchanges: We do not offer ticket exchanges or store credit. If you need to change your showtime, please request a refund for your original tickets and purchase new ones for the desired time.
  • Processing: Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. Please note that for online refunds, it may take several business days for the credit to appear on your statement depending on your financial institution.
  • Canceled Screenings: In the rare event of a canceled screening or technical issue, management will provide refunds or complimentary passes at their discretion.
